In my last post I talked about the pressure down below. Well... in addition to the pressure, I have extreme fatigue. Especially yesterday and today. I fight to stay awake during the day. I don't want to give up and take a nap. I want to be tough! But I'm ready for bed at 7:00pm the last few nights. I try to keep busy so I won't notice my fatigue. All of this is worth it to help me get pregnant. I'll go through whatever I have to! Hopefully, I feel back to normal soon!

1st round of Clomid Treatment!
Well, I finished my first round of clomid treatment. It's only 5 little pills that help a woman to ovulate. I took the first one on November 25th. Up until yesterday I haven't felt any side effects. I thought I would react like Renee, my sister, did when she took it. She got very emotional and antsy, and had hot flashes.
Not me... I guess it's because I'm already very emotional and antsy. Yesterday and today, I felt a lot of pressure in my ovaries. Not a stabbing pain, but pressure. It's not too painful, just annoying. My sister-in-law Mandy said when she went through it she felt the same way. Good to know!
I've been keeping track of my temperature in the morning to see how my cycle progresses. I don't know if I'm doing it completely right. It's all over the place. You're not supposed to move or even talk before you take your temp. in the morning. Let's just face it... it's hard for me to stay still and not talk. I'm curious to see what the next month will look like.
Overall I'm very pleased with clomid... so far. We'll see how next month goes.

First Snow Fall December 1st, 2008
I took some video of the first snow fall in 2008 (to the best of my knowledge). It snowed all day! It's kind of fun, but the Florida girl in me missed the sunshine. Since then we haven't had any snow (unless it happened while we were sleeping.) But it has been super cold and icy. Thank goodness Marvin has been working from home. Enjoy the warmer weather there in Florida. I can't wait to come down for Christmas!

Marvin's First Year Anniversary Poem to me
I thought you might not persevere,
But married we’ve been for one whole year.
And so you would know I’m not distraught,
“I’ll get her something special,” I thought.
I thought there was nothing though, however,
That said how much I want forever,
To be the one that hadn’t thought,
A wedding gift I should have bought.
“I’ll make it right,” I contemplated,
“I’ll make her memory be transformated!”
“Something to make her not remember,
The mistake I made our first November.”
And thus I thought, and thought, and thought,
Until I felt so overwrought.
“I’ll get her a car,” it came to me
Shiny and clean, with a built-in TV.
Or a glamorous mansion, the kind she wants.
For breakfast in bed I’d bring her croissants.
Or a bracelet with rubies, and a pretty diamond necklace,
If all these I got, it wouldn’t be reckless.
And hence I scrambled, off to the store,
And hence I scrambled, off to the store,
To buy all these things, and a whole lot more.
And I got lots of stuff and was ready to pay,
But the cash that I had would not go a long way.
So you can imagine my dismay and gloom.
When all I could buy was some cheap perfume.
And for you to even get that today,
I had to borrow your sister Renee.
I know it’s not a block of gold metal,
But this year l hope that you can just settle,
It’s small compared to very big thought,
Of the things I wanted and went out and sought.
I guess it’s good to always remember,
Each and every year in November,
It’s not the costs or dollar amount,
It is the thoughts that really count!

One year later...
Marvin and I have been married for one year today. Unfortunately, we are not in the same state. I came to Florida last Sunday to help my Aunt recover from surgery. Marvin is driving down here this Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with me and my family. Then we'll drive home together.
This morning I woke up and I found a gift bag on my bed. Marvin had my sister Renee get me a gift and leave it out for me. He wanted to surprise me on our anniversary. Also, he had written a lovely poem. I will post that later.
I'm so grateful for my wonderful husband. He is so sweet, supportive, and kind. I can't wait for our 2nd year together!
I'm glad I waited for him. =)
I love you Marvin!

Birthday Party!
Marvin, Emery, and Leah all have their birthday's within a week of each other. So I wanted to throw a party for all three of them at once. I didn't get any pictures of the party, but I did take pictures of the decorations.
Marvin decorated the cake. Noticed how he spelled "Birthday". He loves to say it that way. He thinks it's funny. He always keeps me laughing. I love my Marvin!

Corn Maze 2008
Last month we went to a corn maze here in Dahlonega. It was really fun. I had some reservations about it, because as many of you know... I am a scardy-cat! But I had my big, strong husband there to protect me! =) We had a great time! Marvin's brothers and sisters came as well. Marvin would love to own a tractor so he can go around and do tractor-type things with it. So I took some pictures of him "driving" this tractor at the corn maze. Isn't he the best?!?!
